Cookies and Local Storage
Effective November 7, 2026Last updated November 7, 2026
Tbili sets only the small files that the Service needs in order to work. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
1What this page covers
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) used on tbilipay.com and in the Tbili app. It is part of the Agreement and should be read with our Privacy Notice.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device.
2Essential cookies we use
The cookies below are strictly necessary. They keep you signed in, protect your Account from cross-site request forgery, and remember your preferences. Because they are necessary for a service you request, they are set without a consent banner.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| tb_s | Keeps you signed in to your Account. It holds a random session identifier, is unreadable by scripts (HttpOnly) and is sent only to Tbili (SameSite=Lax) | Until you sign out or up to 30 days | First party, essential |
These cookies do not contain your password, bank details or card number, and they are not used for advertising.
3What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking pixels, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting for advertising, or data brokers. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our analytics are first-party and cookieless. We count page views on our own servers and do not set a cookie or build a profile of any individual for that purpose.
4Third-party content
Our pages load font files from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser information, as it would for any request. Exchange rates come from open.er-api.com through our servers, and no personal data is sent.
Stripe, which handles subscription payments, may set its own cookies on its hosted payment pages for fraud prevention and to complete payment. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's policies.
5Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. We do not sell or share, so no further action is needed. We do not track you across other sites, so a Do Not Track setting does not change what we do.
6How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in and some security features from working. You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser's privacy settings.
Instructions are available in the help pages of browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
7Changes
If we add a non-essential cookie, we will first update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
