Licenses and Verification

Effective November 7, 2026Last updated November 7, 2026

Tbili is software. Your money is moved by a licensed provider, and you can check that provider yourself using the official government tools listed here.

1Who holds the licenses

1.1

Tbili is a product of LIKE A KING INC., a New York corporation. Tbili is not itself licensed as a money transmitter. Tbili does not hold, transmit or custody customer funds, and it is not a bank.

1.2

Transfers are provided by our Payment Partner, a licensed money transmitter and remittance transfer provider. The Payment Partner is licensed in the states where it operates, and it is named in the Tbili app, on every pre-payment disclosure and on every receipt. If a Tbili-branded card is offered, it will be issued by a licensed Card Issuer that will be named in the same way.

1.3

Because the Payment Partner is named in your pre-payment disclosure before you pay, you can verify its license before you send money.

2Official verification links

2.1

Use these official sources to check a licensed provider, to learn your rights, and to check sanctions lists. The links go to government websites and are provided for convenience.

3What licensing means for you

3.1

Protections for your funds, such as the safeguarding requirements that apply to licensed money transmitters, come from the Payment Partner's licenses and the Partner Terms, not from Tbili. Tbili does not offer FDIC insurance.

3.2

Your rights on remittance transfers, including a pre-payment disclosure, a receipt, a 30-minute cancellation right and error resolution within 180 days, are described in Section 17 of our Terms of Service.

4Our own business

4.1

LIKE A KING INC. is a New York corporation. You can verify a New York corporation through the New York Department of State corporation search. We do not publish registration numbers on this page, except where the law requires.

5Open-source software, fonts and media credits

5.1

Fonts. The headings on this website use Figtree and the body text uses Instrument Sans. Both are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1 (openfontlicense.org), and are delivered by Google Fonts.

5.3

Exchange rates. Indicative rates are retrieved from open.er-api.com. No personal data is sent.

5.4

Trademarks. Names and logos of other companies and government agencies belong to their owners. Their use here is only to identify them.

5.5

Tbili's own software, designs and brand are owned by LIKE A KING INC. and are not offered under an open-source license.
